This course is a one-day workshop designed to build upon the knowledge provided by the CCNSG Safety Passport course to develop the delegate’s understanding of health and safety leadership.
The course is designed to be interactive, including discussions and exercises throughout the day. It focuses on the essential health and safety skills required by supervisors and team leaders, such as planning, implementing and reviewing health and safety processes.
Supervisors and team leaders play an important role in ensuring site safety. They can influence the behaviour of those that they supervise and ensure good planning and communication of health and safety related to site work. A good leader can help to ensure workers are safe on site with a lower risk to themselves and others.
