CITB Site Management Safety Training Scheme Refresher (SMSTSR)

The refresher course focuses on key areas of health and safety such as your responsibilities for site safety, health, welfare and the environment.

To take the SMSTS Refresher you must have already completed a SMSTS course and hold a valid certificate. Your certificate is valid for 5 years from the date of completing your course, and you will need to complete a refresher before it expires.

If you are not sure if your certificate is still valid you can check with the learning provider that you used in order to get the certificate originally, or by contacting CITB directly.

• You must be present for the whole duration of the Zoom course as one of the assessment criteria set by CITB.
• You will also need to successfully complete an exam paper at the end of the course.
