This course is designed to give attendees knowledge of relevant Regulations, Codes of Practice and good safe working practices along with hands-on practical skills to enable them to safely use safety harness and safety lanyards whilst using mobile powered access equipment.

Checking your harness is essential because it’s your primary line of protection in any activity where there’s a risk of falling—such as working at height, climbing, or using fall arrest systems. A proper check helps ensure the harness will perform exactly as designed when you need it most.
By the end of this course delegates will be able to identify and select the correct form of harness and lanyard, and be able to inspect, maintain, fit and use them effectively & Legislative compliance.
The course covers the following:
- Introduction
- Health & Safety/PPE
- Legislation
- Accidents & Prevention
- Inspection of Equipment (Pre-Use Check)
- Knowledge test
- Course review and evaluation
- 20 Multiple Choice Questions with 80% pass mark (16/20).
- On successful completion you will receive an in-house accredited certificate of achievement.
